We're excited to announce the National Walk to END EPILEPSY - DC will be taking place in-person for the first time in 3 years on May 6, 2023! Join us in-person at the Nationals Park or virtually to raise awareness and funds to END EPILEPSY. With each step taken and dollar raised, we're closer to reaching our goal: a world free from epilepsy and free from fear of the next seizure.

There is no fee to register, however when you raise $50 or more you'll earn this year's official National Walk to END EPILEPSY - DC T-shirt. Register today!

Set a goal

Set a goal to raise $50 or more to earn the official event T-shirt. Go above and beyond by raising $1,000 or more to become a Brain Boss and earn exclusive perks.

Walk, stride or ride 26 miles in honor of the 1 in 26 who will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime. Log each your activity in your Participant Center after registering!

Join us in-person to raise awareness and funds to END EPILEPSY, and to help the 3.4 million people who have epilepsy in the United States.

Event Day Details

Join us at National Park where you can walk the 1 mile route to raise awareness in our community. Get your purple gear ready and plan on making life-lasting memories, worthwhile connections, and hear empowering stories from epilepsy warriors, important messages from Epilepsy Foundation staff and more!

Schedule

8 AM | Arrive and get checked in or get registered and ready to walk! Explore our partner tents, enjoy light refreshments and participate in our family-friendly activities.
9:30 AM | Opening Remarks: Hear from community partners, celebrate our top fundraisers, learn about our mission and recognize our loved ones affected by epilepsy and seizures.
10 AM | Walk! The Walk course will be 1 mile long.
12 PM | Event Ends
