We're excited to announce the bi-annual National Epilepsy Walk will be taking place at the iconic National Mall in Washington, DC on March 15, 2025! This event is more than just a walk - it’s an opportunity to come together as a community with families, friends, and advocates in the heart of our nation’s capital. Whether you're directly impacted by epilepsy or simply want to show your support, your participation makes a difference. Together, we can create a world where everyone impacted by epilepsy can thrive. Lace up your shoes, bring your purple, and let’s make strides toward change!

There is no fee to register, however when you raise $100 or more you'll earn this year's official National Epilepsy Walk swag.

Register for the National Epilepsy Walk by signing up to join us in-person or to walk on your own as a Team Captain, Team Member, or Individual before 3/14/2025.

Set a goal

Set a goal to raise $100 or more to earn the official event swag. Go above and beyond by raising $1,000 or more to become a Brain Boss and earn exclusive perks.

Walk, stride or ride and help us reach our goal of collectively reaching 26,000 miles in honor of the 1 in 26 who will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime.

Event Day Details

Join us at the National Mall where you can walk the 1.5 mile route to raise awareness in our community. Get your purple gear ready and plan on making life-lasting memories, worthwhile connections, and hear empowering stories from epilepsy warriors, important messages from Epilepsy Foundation staff and more!

Schedule

11:30 AM | Walkers Village opens! Arrive and get checked-in and ready to walk!
1 PM | Program begins
1:30 PM | Walk! The Walk course will be approximately 1.5 miles long.
4 PM | Event Ends
