WELCOME TO OUR FUNDRAISING WEBPAGE!

This Friday, November 17th, we celebrate National Epilepsy Awareness Month!

This fundraiser is in our second year- Several of our community members are personally effected by Epilepsy and we would like to support these families and raise awareness in our PRSF community about epilepsy and seizures to help educate you on the topic.

Here are some quick facts about epilepsy:

1 in 10 people will have a seizure and 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy during their lifetime.

There are 3.4 million people living with epilepsy in the United States; 470,000 of them are children.

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that can affect any one of us regardless of race, age, or gender.

Seizures are a symptom of epilepsy. Not all seizures are the same. Many people with epilepsy have more than one type of seizure.

Purple is the color that represents NEAM. Why?

“There are so many different shades of purple, just like there are so many different types of epilepsy and seizures. Purple can represent every unique person, experience, and perspective of the epilepsy community.”

So, on Friday, November 17th, we ask you to show your support by wearing PURPLE! We will also be running a “Hero” style workout. Get your purple outfit ready and come crush the Wod with the most supportive community!

Please support this cause by making a safe and secure donation to our fundraising webpage. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better, easier, more manageable place for the  3.4+ million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.

Thank you for your help and support
