In honor of my best friend, Kietsa, who has faced many hardships, countless medications and procedures as a result of epilepsy. I am raising funds to make a difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to stop seizures and SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy through efforts including education, advocacy and research to accelerate ideas into therapies.

On June 25, 2018 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration  approved Epidiolex (cannabidiol) [CBD] oral solution for the treatment of seizures associated with two rare and severe forms of epilepsy, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome, in patients two years of age and older.
